The Vineyard Cafe is a place where people can gather and enjoy a night of fun, food and music.
It is open on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Tuesday of the month, doors open at 6:00 p.m., Open Mic starts at 7:00 p.m., the extended mike segment starts at 8:00 p.m. and Up Close In Concert starts at 8:30 p.m. The event is held at the Vineyard Church of Wheeling, 647 Warden Run Road, Wheeling, WV. The cafe provides a venue where performers and audience can come together and share an evening of live music, featuring a mix of both secular and contemporary Christian music in a laid back, friendly, family atmosphere.
The Open Mic slots gives 4 to 6 performers a brief opportunity in the spotlight, playing before a live audience. The Extended Slot (30 minutes) is used to give extra playing time to people that have been loyal open mikers or are favorites of the Vineyard Cafe audience. We also use it to give performers, that have a greater distances to travel, more incentive to come and play. Up Close In Concert caps off the evening will a full hour concert from some really great local and regional performers.
Come and join host, John Fluharty, and emcee, R. Scott Stewart, the Cafe team and a really great group of people for a night filled with fun, food and music.
Enjoy a 12-ounce cup of Starbuck’s House Blend Regular or Decaffeinated Coffee with your favorite flavored creamer for just 50 cents. Also gourmet French vanilla cappuccino, hot chocolate, various teas, Coke products, Pepsi products, Frito-Lay and other snacks are available for just 50 cents.
We always have a featured food special (Examples: Popcorn, Nacho's and Cheese) and special occasions the cafe sponsors a covered dish. We ask adults to make a $2/$3 per person donation kids and teens are free. Where else can you have a great night of entertainment and get great snacks for that kind of price.
